What terms and conditions apply to me as a passenger?
All tours must have at least two (2) passengers to lift off. Prices and schedules are subject to change without notice. Refunds are given up to 48 hours before your scheduled tour, but “no shows” are non-refundable and ineligible for transfers, exchanges or upgrades. All flight times are approximate and conditional upon the weather. HeliTours reserves the right to change or cancel flights at our discretion. The maximum weight limit per person is 112 kg (250lbs) unless special accommodations are made and prepared in advance. Can I cancel my trip with Heli Tours?
Yes, but certain fees apply depending on the time of your cancellation.
Less than 2 weeks and more than 4 days before your trip = 10% cancellation fee
Less than 4 days and more than 48 hours before your trip = 50% cancellation fee
Less than 48 hours before your trip = 100% cancellation fee
It’s been 24 hours and I haven’t received my confirmation email. What should I do?
Check your spam folder; commercial emails sometimes wind up there. You might also want to add to your address book or “accepted contacts” list so you’ll be able to receive further communication from us. If it’s been 24 hours since your booking and you still haven’t gotten your confirmation email, not even in your spam folder, contact us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or telephone (+ 47 476 77 123).
How much do tours cost?

What type of helicopter do you operate?
HeliTours operates mainly with Eurocopter EC120, Eurocopter EC130, Eurocopter AS350 B3 and Robinson R44. They’re very safe and comfortable models that enjoy many uses around the world, including aerial tours in other countries.
How and when will I be picked up?
If we can provide pick-up at your destination it will be noted in the tour description at our site. All on-ground transportation is done by licensed drivers in a fully insured mini-bus or car
What if there’s a storm on the day I’m supposed to take my helicopter ride?
Tours can proceed on schedule despite small amounts of rain and cloud cover, but if there’s thunder, lightning or any tell-tale signs of an approaching storm, we regretfully have to cancel the trip. We’ll give you a full refund if this happens, or you can re-book your trip for a later date at your convenience. What do I need to bring to the ride?
Please have valid photo ID on hand for the duration of your trip. Large bags and backpacks aren’t allowed in the helicopter, but you can safely leave them on the ground with our staff until you return. Cameras, cellphones and small camcorders are permitted, but beware that charging, holding and operating them is your own responsibility. You’ll want to dress in comfortable clothes and shoes and bring a pair of sunglasses in case the sky is very bright during your ride.
Do I need a reservation?
Yes, you need to book your trip in advance. You can do this through our website or by phone at +47 476 77 123.
How soon should I book my trip before arrival?
We suggest that you book a minimum of ten (10) days in advance, though this isn’t required. It’s simply the best way to ensure that you get the date and time most convenient to you for your helicopter ride.
Are there any other fees than the ones listed on your pricing page?
How many people can ride in the same helicopter?
Our helicopters can accommodate from three (3) passengers and one (1) pilot till six (6) passengers and one (1) pilot - depending on what type of helicopter that is available at your preferred destination. At least two (2) passengers need to be present for the helicopter to go in the air.
Are helicopters a safe way to travel?
Absolutely! Helicopters are among the safest means of transport available in the modern world. They’re even used as emergency support and air rescue vessels all around the globe. You’ll be safe in our hands. Trust us and come spend a day among the clouds!
Do you offer group discounts?
Groups of ten or more (10+) should contact HeliTours directly to make special accommodations. Contact us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or telephone (+ 47 476 77 123).
I use a wheelchair. Can I still fly with Heli Tours?
Yes that is possible. We just need you to contact us by email (email@example.com) or telephone (+ 47 476 77 123) when you book your trip so we can prepare the helicopter for you.
I’m pregnant. Can I still fly with Heli Tours?
Yes, pregnant women often fly with HeliTours. While we can vouch for the safety of the flight, however, you should check with your doctor before booking a trip just to be safe.
What should I wear for the tour?
There’s no dress code; just wear something comfortable. Bring your camera, too.
Can my children fly with me?
Yes, all children over three (3) years old are welcome to fly with HeliTours. They’ll need adult supervision, however, and at this time, we don’t offer discounts based on age. You’ll need to purchase them full-fare seats. Children at eleven (11) years of age and up may fly without supervision, but need authorization from their parents/guardiens. Is there any public transportation to the airport?
You don’t have to worry about that; we’ll provide transportation from the city to the helicopter. We’ll give you detailed information about pick-up and drop-off points once you book your trip. If you’d prefer to come to us on your own, airport buses are also an option.
Can I come by car?
Yes, you can drive yourself. The meeting point address for every destination is written in the tour description.
